The Angels Were Near Today!

My mother's family decided to start end of life care for my dear sweet Grandmother yesterday. It is her time and she has truly endured to the end in so many ways. I took my children to see her to say goodbye today. It is such a bittersweet time.  She has lived a long, faithful life. It could be days or weeks, but the end is near for her. I am so excited for her to be in the arms of my Grandpa again. He has been gone for 28 years. She was lovely and graceful in her bed as she has always been in life. She seemed calm and comfortable. Her mind is still good. She remembered us all. We stayed for about an hour. I held her hand and kissed her forehead. We looked each other in the eye and knew it would be the last time we  would share our love until we meet again in the spirit world. I told her thank you for everything and that I loved her dearly. I will honor her  here when the time comes and she leaves us for a season. They are gathering for a joyeous reunion on the other side, I felt it so strongly. I love the truth that families can be together forever. I am grateful that the angels are watching out for all of us.
